Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the thing that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
